Maybe Balisage is an XML conference (Goggle and Yahoo both seem to let you find it that way). Maybe it is a Markup Conference (but the big search engines don't exactly know what that means...)

If you are coming to Balisge, you should put up a poster!
Posters can highlight ideas, display clever code or research results, rant, question, joke, parody song lyrics, or announce books or services. Think of it as a mini-conference-presentation or a on-paper blog. Why do the poster?

* to get feedback about an idea
* to create a gathering point a Balisage
* to see who reads it, so you can start online discussions with them
* as a try-out, before you blog it to the whole world
