Q You worked in New York and Toronto before moving to Montreal. What's special about the Quebec art scene?A It's a very mature scene; it's been encouraged since the 1920s, and I think encouragement is an important factor. There's also a high density of talent, and there has been for a long time, so it's inevitable someone was going to do something like this triennial project.
